Application Criteria for Semi Skilled Workers within the Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP)

•    a current worker in Alberta (on a work permit) in one of the following eligible occupations:
•    Food and Beverage Service – Food and Beverage Production Workers, Bakery Production Workers, Food and Beverage Processing         Equipment Cleaners, Industrial Butchers and Meat Cutters, Poultry Production Workers
•    Hotel and Lodging – Food and Beverage Servers, Room Attendants, Front Desk Agent/Clerk
•    Manufacturing – Eligible occupations
•    Long-Haul Truck Drivers
•    Foodservices (pilot project) – Food and Beverage Servers, Food Counter Attendants, Kitchen Helpers
•    at least a high school education (in Foodservices, your high school diploma must be equivalent to Alberta educational standards
•    specific eligibility criteria for your industry


Employers in this category also must meet specific requirements, including providing a permanent full-time job offer in a semi-skilled occupation (NOC C or D) that is considered eligible by the AINP.
