Business Permit for Immigration to Canada as a Self-Employed Person
The self-employed business permit is limited to world class athletes and artists or farmers.
Self-employed business permit applicants will need to be able to proof relevant experience such as participation in world class events or farming management experience.
Application Criteria for the Self-Employed Permit for Canada
Aside from the above requirements self-employed persons will need to demonstrate the following:
- Suitable medical and security clearances
- 2 years business experience
- Either as an equity owner or managing at least 5 staff.
- Be able to support themselves and family on arrival in Canada
