New Brunswick Provincial Nominee Program - Business Immigration Program  (Entrepreneur) Criteria

Prospective immigrants under the Business Immigration program of the New Brunswick Provincial Nominee Program will need to demonstrate the following:
  • between age 22 and 50
  • minimum secondary school (high school) diploma
  • intent to reside and run business in New Brunswick
  • proficiency in English and/or French (must be able to manage business in either language)
  • verifiable, private-sector management experience in three of the five previous years
  • demonstrate knowledge of New Brunswick business culture and practices
  • business plan approved by the New Brunswick authorities
  • a minimum net worth of $300,000 CAD
  • able to invest $125,000 CAD in a New Brunswick business
  • submission of all forms, including a refundable (with conditions) $75,000 CAD deposit before nomination and a copy of the Deposit Agreement stating you agree to invest financial in a New Brunswick business
  • receive at least 50 points in the {selection factors} below
