Criteria for the Newfoundland and Labrador Provincial Nomination Program (NLPNP) International Student CategoryGraduates from an eligible publicly funded university in Canada who completed one half of their studies in Canada (full-time only) and were awarded a minimum two-year diploma or degree OR, if completed a previous degree or diploma, were awarded a one-year post-graduate degree or certificate, may be eligible to apply for permanent residence in Canada through the Newfoundland and Labrador PNP. Applicants must have received an offer of full-time employment in Newfoundland and Labrador in their field of study (or related field) OR have worked for at least six months in the province with the expectation of full-time employment. They must also have a valid post-graduation work permit and the qualifications, credentials, education/training and skills for the position. Applications must be submitted within 24 months of receipt of the degree or diploma, and applicants must be able to verify sufficient ability to do the job in either English or French.
