Skilled Workers Criteria for the Newfoundland and Labrador Provincial Nominee Program (NLPNP)

To be eligible for nomination as a permanent resident as a skilled worker under the Newfoundland and Labrador PNP, you must meet the following requirements:
  • full-time offer of employment from an employer in the province, OR a job/job offer with a salary and benefits that meets the prevailing wage rates and employment standards
  • eligible for a CIC work permit or in possession of one
  • fully qualified for position (training, skills, experience, credentials, etc.)
  • intent and ability to settle in the province
  • job offer does not interfere with collective agreements or labour disputes
  • sufficient funds to establish yourself and family in the province
  • employer demonstrates need for your particular skills
  • English / French to perform job
