Qualifying Criteria for Champions


In order to qualify as a Champion (sponsor) under the Immigrant Connections Category, the following criteria apply:

  • Have been a Canadian citizen or permanent resident who has lived in PEI for more than two years
  • Have a regular source of income, sufficient for your needs and those of your dependants
  • Have a generally unblemished personal history
  • Testimonials from other PEI residents or evidence of volunteer work or community service are beneficial but by no means essential.
